AI search tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google's AI Overviews are changing how people find things online. Most teams today are treating AI search as a separate problem from SEO. I don't (and there's evidence to back this up).
The companies showing up in AI answers aren't running two separate workstreams. They are creating content that has something real to say. Content that builds trust. Content with a point of view. My process starts with your buyers, not keyword tools. How they talk, what they're trying to figure out, where they go to research it. That's what helps me build content that answers real questions and gets found where buyers are actually searching. It's not something you can prompt your way to.
