THE CHALLENGE
LinkedIn was already Upraised's primary lead generation channel. The founder had around 10K followers and decent engagement when they posted. But they posted randomly and without any strategy behind it. The channel needed the same treatment as any other marketing channel, with consistent posting and a proper content strategy.
THE APPROACH
The goal was to build a system that let us post consistently without it becoming another task on the founder's plate. That meant extracting her actual voice and opinions rather than inventing new content for her, and shaping the content strategy around what Upraised's audience wanted to read.
WHAT I DID
Content extraction
- •The founder had more to say than they had time to say it. I had weekly conversations with them, which I recorded and used as raw material for posts. Early on, I drafted posts myself and got them to review it. That helped me build an understanding of their voice.
- •Everything we posted reflected something they had actually said or thought. I was not inventing content for them.
Content Strategy
- •We posted at least four times a week. Formats included: opinion posts, text posts, short-form videos. The topics I selected stayed close to what Upraised's audience cared about.
